Foothills Celebration Event Production - for March 7th Event
Foothills Celebration is Nevada County's premier wine and food event that showcases the local vintners and food production in the area and brings it all to downtown Grass Valley for an afternoon of delight! The GVDA is partnered with Sierra Vintners for our 19th Annual Event on Saturday, March 7th.
It takes a crew to coordinate this event and we are looking for volunteers to help in the week before the event as well as the days leading up to it and on the day of. We are expecting 20-30 retail locations downtown to offer pairings of wine and food.
Each of these locations needs to be set up and organized as well as ticket sales locations and runners throughout the event. We need help with signage and getting the supplies to every location, so there are many opportunities to be involved!
Example of specific needs:
- organizing supplies a week before the event, 2-3 hrs
- putting together no parking signs and placing them downtown two days before the event, 2-3 hrs
- printing and assembling programs as needed before the event
- distributing tickets to ticket sale locations as needed on the day of the event
- distributing balloons and signs at each location on the day of the event
- distributing ice to locations serving beverages or as needed to food vendors too throughout the event
- office help, answering phones on the day of the event
