DECEMBER 17th HOLIDAY FOOD DISTRIBUTION - Food Bank of Nevada County
Food Bank of Nevada County invites you to come help with the December Holiday Food Distribution.
We’re looking for about 30 additional volunteers for this special day.
We especially encourage teams of people who are staying home together (families and other housemate combinations) who can provide more person-power and reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus.
WHAT: Food Bank of Nevada County DECEMBER HOLIDAY DISTRIBUTION DAY
WHEN: Choose one or both shifts on Thursday, December 17, 2020
- Shift 1 – 9am-12pm
- Shift 2 – 11:30am-2:30pm
WHERE: 12889 Osborne Hill Rd, Grass Valley, CA 95945 - Seventh Day Adventist Church
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Do a health screening when you check in, including having your temperature taken.
- Wear weather appropriate gear such as hats, gloves, and boots.
- Able to lift bags and boxes.
- Abide by all FBNC processes and protocols, including COVID-19 safety measures.
- The minimum age to volunteer is 12 years old. Volunteers between the ages of 12-15 must volunteer with an adult, and volunteers 16-17 years of age must volunteer with parental permission.
