Farm Work - Woolman at Sierra Friends Center
Come help restore the Woolman Farm after the Jones Fire. Let’s bring this beautiful little farm back into production!
Activities vary weekly and may include:
- Pruning
- Transplanting
- Weeding
- Building
- Digging
- Apple picking!!
Tools provided, or bring your favorites to use. All skill levels are welcome. There’s something for everyone!
There are many options for volunteering depending on interests and abilities. We welcome all. Each volunteer who donates 40+ hours will be offered a Woolman t-shirt. Each volunteer who donates 4+ hours of time will be offered a free yoga class, access to the incredible swimming pond. Plus to express our gratitude, a virtual or real hug - your preference!
- BRING: Water, gloves, hat. And lunch if you want to join us after the work.
- WHEN: Thursdays, 7:30am-12:30pm
- WHERE: 13075 Woolman Lane Nevada City, CA 95959. Please drive 10mph on Woolman Lane.

Covid Requirements:
1. Require everyone to wear masks in indoor public spaces (office, bath house).
2. Encourage regular hand washing.
3. We will continue with Deep cleaning protocols between guests' stays/use of facilities.
4. We will continue to ask that no one enter any building they have not rented or gotten permission from a staff
member to go into.
