Overview of Volunteer Opportunities for Music in the Mountains SummerFest 2022
Music in the Mountains combines world-class performances with a deep commitment to music education. The 3-week SummerFest classical music festival features the MIM Festival Orchestra and soloists – consisting of professional musicians from all over the country – and our own MIM Chorus of dedicated volunteers. SummerFest takes place in several venues from June 18-July 9, 2022. There are volunteer opportunites from mid-June to mid-July.

All volunteers will be required to read, understand, and adhere to a volunteer code-of-conduct attestation. For some volunteer positions, additional training may be necessary. Any and all additional volunteer training(s) is at the discretion of the organization and does not obligate the organization in a contract with the volunteer.

Music in the Mountains is looking for a few volunteers to help in the office. The 2022 SummerFest classical music festival is June 18-July 9 and things are getting busy!
Thursday, June 16 – Monday, July 11 - Housing Host for Musician
Open your home to a musician for Music in the Mountains (MIM) SummerFest 2022. A variety of hosting dates are available ranging from June 16 – July 11, 2022. (The festival is June 18-July 9, 2022.)
Saturday evening, June 18 - SummerFest Opening Night in the Garden
5:30pm at the Nyumbani Residence
Volunteer Opportunities at this event include: Set-up crew, Parking Assistants, Gate Attendants, Golf Cart/Utility Cart Driver, Bartenders, Servers, Ushers, Strike Crew. Help invited guests to be delighted by great food, gorgeous views and, most importantly, beautiful music.
Friday evening, June 24 - Concert - Brahms' Requiem & Vaughan Williams' Lark Ascending
7pm at The Center for the Arts, 314 W. Main Street, Grass Valley

Sunday afternoon, June 26 - Children’s Concert - Vivaldi's Ring of Mystery

Wednesday evening, June 29 - Concert - A Trip to the Highlands

Friday evening, July 1 - Concert - Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl - Live In Concert
