How Would YOU Like to Volunteer for the Center for the Arts?
The Center for the Arts brings world-class cultural offerings to both adults and kids in Nevada County. Our newly-renovated Grass Valley facility hosts big-name musical acts, films, small theater productions, visual arts exhibitions, and classes for the community. We rely on hundreds of volunteers each year to make it all happen.
Here are some of the things you can do as a volunteer for The Center for the Arts…

Distribute posters at local businesses

Greet audience members, take tickets, or usher at a concert

Help out in the bar or sell concessions during a show

Serve as a docent at a gallery exhibition

Work as a stage hand moving equipment

Provide clerical help in our office
For now, all volunteers must be vaccinated and wear a mask while volunteering. Most shifts are about 4 hours. We provide the training you'll need to feel confident in your role.
